Calcined Dolomite is most commonly utilized for manufacturing refractory bricks required for lining of furnaces and boilers. It has been produced by calcining dolomite at extremely higher temperatures. This powder finds application in steel & iron, sugar, paper, aluminum, paint formulating, leather & textile, and chemical industries. Calcined Dolomite is a type of anhydrous carbonate mineral having calcium magnesium carbonate. It is also used for gasification of biomass for tar destruction at higher temperatures. This mineral has specific gravity range of 2.84-2.86 and is poorly soluble in dilute HCl. It also acts as a catalyst and base material for various industries.
